LEVEL ONE - Introduction to Executive Protection Techniques (12hrs) Traits and skills of a personal protection specialist; differences between government and civil protection details; course rules. Threat assessment Tactics of terrorists and other perpetrators; terrorist target selection, intelligence gathering; protective intelligence; setting up threat assessment. Most of the subjects in Level two will also be introduced here.
LEVEL TWO - Executive Protection Agent (12 hrs) Personal Protection tactics and measures to prepare advance risk assessment. Advance work; reconnaissance and counter surveillance; Means to collect protected information (technical, human); means to protect information (technical, human); case studies close protection with and without vehicles; protection in temporary and permanent installations; counterattack and behaviour in attack situation; covering and evacuation of the VIP. Tactical shooting considerations Communication methods and techniques Handling of radio equipment; communication by signs and signals; do and donīt during radio communication. Unarmed defence / close combat methods Bomb awareness Effects of explosions; components of explosive and incendiary
devices; bomb search and identification (EOD und IED); handling bomb threats.
Social relationships and manners First respondent medicine A First aid course and CPR course is required and will be taught to each participant. Treatment of wounds and injuries; emergency care, wraps and splints. EXECUTIVE PROTECTIVE DRIVING
Protective driving car positions in different situations,
convoy driving; terroristsī tactics for vehicle attacks, ambush reaction
tactics.
LEVEL THREE - Advanced Executive Protection (12 hrs) FINAL EXERCISEDuring a two day exercise the participants will have to apply all training skills. Students are given a realistic scenario. They have to plan and carry out a protective detail operation and to prevent an attempt on the life of the protectee. Training location TRAINING LOCATIONThe training takes place at a special facility which is ideal for Executive protection and celebrity protection training.. Advanced Instruction methods in Executive and Celebrity Protection VARIOUS PROTECTION TACTICSwill be explained with models. In the practical part of the course you will train, consolidate and extend what you learned during the lessons. In some sections of the training participants will have to work out solutions on their own and will than discuss it with the instructors. With the aid of video analyses we will check your movements in order to analysis mistakes you made. During the training course we will increase the burdens and demands. We will bring you in stress situations and you will be under a great deal of physical and psychological pressure. During a final practical exercise the course participants will be members of a executive protection personal protection detail. They will practise during this simulation exercise what they learned during the course. They will plan the protective mission, carry out advance, reconnaissance, counter surveillance and they will escort the VIP. They will practise close protection with vehicles and on foot at different locations. The task will be to prevent an assassination and/or intrusion attempts. A hit team, whose members are not known to the course participants, will try to commit an attack on the protectee. FINAL ASSESSMENT OF PARTICIPANTīS PERFORMANCEYour performance during the training will be assessed by the instructors from the first day on. The assessment is based on the instructors judgment and the final exercise.
Only those participants who reach the minimum score will receive certification. CERTIFICATE ISSUEDCertificates of executive and celebrity protection course completion will be issued to each individual assuming all participant fees are paid in full. FEES.
