G Open carry license and Concealed Weapons Permit CWP class W license gun tactical school weapon tactical weapons training security In accordance with Florida Chapters 493, amd 790 Class "G" licensed armed security officers are required to complete 28-hours of classroom and range instruction under the direction of a Class "K" licensed instructor.
We offer Class "G" license training as a three day course.
Day One - Ten-hour classroom day at our training facility in Margate, Florida.
Day Two - Ten-hour classroom day at our training facility in Margate, Florida.
Day Three includes 8-hours of range instruction and final qualification at our firearms training facility located nearby.
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
You will learn methods to control breathing, aiming, and firing the weapon.
In addition to lesson instruction, every student is walked through the State application process in a step-by-step manner to ensure that the Class "G" license application is complete and filled out properly.
Students that pass the final exam and range qualification will be given proof of completion to provide to the State when they apply for the Class "G" license.
Graduates that are issued a Florida Class "G" license must return once per year to complete annual re-qualification to retain their license.

Required Equipment
This class requires the use of a .38 revolver, .357 revolver, or 9mm semi-automatic pistol. Students possessing their own firearm may use them on the range, however, do not bring them into class. Those students who do not have their own firearm may use an A Team firearm by paying a cleaning and maintenance fee of $15 on the first day of class.
All firearms needed for the classroom component will be provided by A Team . On Day Three, Sunday, you are recommended to bring the following items to the range.
Eye, ear protection, and a baseball style hat.
38 Revolver or 9mm semi-automatic handgun
(3) speed loaders (or 3 magazines, if appropriate)
Quality Duty holster and loader/magazine pouches (NO cross draw, shoulder, SOB, or ankle holsters) Comfortable clothing that provides protection from both the sun and ejected brass
If You bring a handgun to the range on Sunday, the weapon should be brought to the range unloaded and encased. All student-brought weapons will Be subject to a safety inspection prior to live fire.

Course Number THG 28433 Tactical Handgun training is not a beginner's class. Students develop solid tactical practices. There is an emphasis on moving while shooting.
It is very active! Students will shoot from unconventional positions, on the move, and in reactionary situations!
TACTICAL COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
Safely deploy the issued sidearm in a tactical manner from various and sometimes unconventional shooting positions. The Student will also be able to recognize and efficiently deal with stoppages and weapons malfunctions.
COURSE OUTLINE:
Firearms Safety . Weapon Handling . Marksmanship . Tactical Reloading . Stoppage Clearance . Firing from Unusual positions
This course also includes lectures on tactics for recognizing potential pre-incident indicators of violence and avoiding confrontations. It also covers developing the mindset necessary for surviving lethal force encounters.
NOTE: Class limited to 15 students, students can receive close instruction and one-on-one attention from instructors to enhance basic skills.
