Potential abuse of GPS trackers.

In the US, the use of GPS trackers by police requires a search warrant, but use by a private citizen does not, as the Fourth Amendment does not limit the actions of private citizens.

These devices can also raise concerns about personal privacy. In order to perform a GPS vehicle track we must have a copy of your title (proof of ownership) for the vehicle on file in our office.

If the title is in someone elses name we cannot perform the GPS track DUE TO "THE REASONABLE EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY" ISSUES.

Over time, the information collected could reveal a typical pattern of movements. that can be printed as a record or file of vehicle movement and activities.

We are also available for trial testimony, witness consultation, statement preparation, and litigation support. We will also coordinate with law enforcement involvement if circumstances warrant.
